As a Christian Myself the expected response would be “of course you should be against gay people, they are an abomination, it is a sin etc etc etc”
But the truth is the way I have seen Christians reacting and behaving towards the LGBT community in the last few weeks if not years is shameful! I know I will probably loose followers and have many Christians disagree with me. But I have fought with these feelings and really feel that God is telling me that I had to speak out about this.
A God so full of love and forgiveness would never and has never hated of singled out a race creed or sexuality in the bible or in the history of the earth! So why do “Some” Christians feel it is their God given right to single out a certain section of society and and demean them and label them as an abomination! God always hated the sin NOT the Sinner .. he love the Sinner.. So how have YOU the right to be so hateful and hurtful to one section of society and blame them for all the ills of the world!
The reason the world is the way it is is not because of one section of society it is because of greed, lust, hate, violence, love of the world, love of material wealth, immorality.
The reason Christians pick on Gay people is taken totally out of context..if you truly studied the bible you would realise that Sodom and gammarah are taken totally out of context.. it was destroyed because of Pride, lust, rape immorality.. nothing to do with sexual orientation,,and loving relationships..lust and sexual immortality is not a loving relationship they are two different things..there was only one righteous man on Sodom and Gammarah that is why it was destroyed nothing to do with sexuality..if even ten righteous people could have been found there the town would not have been destroyed.
King James who wrote the King James version of the Bible was himself Gay!
God is of love, Not hate.. and a true Christian would choose love over hate every time and if you truly new and understood the word of God and new Jesus you too would love everyone..love thy neighbour! love the sinner hate the sin..
And maybe those of you who have such hatred really do not know what it is to be full of the love and spirit of Jesus because someone so full of his love could not be so full of hate towards any one!
Paster Vincent in this video explains truly how the Bible has been misinterpreted and how love is more important to God than hate.
